A MESSAGE FROM

Welcome to the Women Empowerment Forum Liberia (WEFL), a place where commitment to positive change for marginalized women and girls in underserved communities is at the heart of everything we do. At WEFL, we hold a firm belief that every person deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Through our comprehensive range of programs and initiatives, we dedicate ourselves to empowering not only women and girls but also children, by ensuring they have access to essential services including education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Additionally, we focus on critical areas such as climate action, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and social services. Join our mission as we work towards creating brighter futures and fostering lasting positive transformations in communities globally.

MISSION

Is to uplift and empower underprivileged women and girls in rural and peri-urban communities across Liberia. Through advocacy, capacity-building programs, educational initiatives, and strategic partnerships, we strive to address socio-economic challenges, health disparities, and barriers to sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We are committed to promoting gender equality and advancing women’s rights, working towards creating a more just and equitable society where every woman and girl can thrive.

VISION

At the Women Empowerment Forum Liberia (WEFL), our vision is a future where every woman and girl in Liberia lives in dignity, with full access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. We strive for a society where gender equality is realized and women and girls are empowered to lead, influence, and thrive in all aspects of life. Our commitment extends to ensuring that women’s voices are heard and valued in the pursuit of sustainable development and social justice across Liberia and beyond.
